Second Brain privacy

Second Brain works locally on your iPhone without an account. This server receives your brain definitions and saved records only when you choose to enable sync and AI access. Records may include any fitness, food, notes or other personal information you choose to save.
What this server stores
Your private workspace, record dates, randomly generated workspace identifier, hashed device/recovery credentials, and approved AI connections. It stores connection creation and last-use times for access management. The application does not include advertising, analytics trackers, or AI conversation logging. The server operator’s hosting provider and reverse proxy may retain operational connection logs.
AI connections
AI access is optional. An approved connector can read or change the parts of your workspace shown on its consent screen. Data returned to Claude, ChatGPT or another approved AI client is subject to that provider’s terms and retention practices. Revoking a connection stops future access; it cannot remove copies already received by another provider.
Your controls
Use Settings in the app to export your workspace, revoke AI connections, disconnect a device, or delete your synced workspace. Deletion removes its live records and access credentials. Provider or operator backups may retain older copies until their retention period ends; contact support@boostproductivity.co for this server’s backup schedule and privacy requests. Disconnecting a device by itself does not delete the server workspace.
Security and retention
Access is restricted to your device credentials and approved workspace-scoped connections. Public connections use HTTPS. Sync is not end-to-end encrypted: the server operator and database host can access stored records. Records remain until you delete them or the operator applies a disclosed retention policy. The operator is responsible for protecting storage and backups and responding to requests.
